I covered Wednesday’s announcement that Virginia Tech will appeal fines from the Department of Education stemming from its actions during the April 16, 2007, campus shootings. Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli announced the appeals and denounced the DOE investigation. He also threw in some new information about the civil suits set for trial in September, restarting the debate over what exactly constitutes a timely warning.
