Midtown businesses, drivers react to traffic changes

Earlier this week, New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg announced an advanced new traffic control system for midtown Manhattan that is aimed at relieving gridlock.

In Wednesday’s paper, my fellow city desk intern and I got reactions from businesses and drivers who hope to see the benefits of the new system.

But most said the changes weren’t readily apparent just yet.
